Description
N00164-21-C-B002 SOLE SOURCE ACQUISITION AND INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT SERVICES FOR PEO IWS FRONT OFFICE - PSC R425 NAICS 541330 Anticipated Issue Date 05 November 2020 - Anticipated Closing Date 20 November 2020 Time 14:00 EST Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane), Crane, IN intends to award a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract for a maximum four and a half (4.5) month period of performance with CACI Technologies, Inc., 14370 Newbrook Drive, Chantilly, VA 20151. In accordance with the statement of work, tasks include surface ship and submarine combat systems, missiles (except the Trident ballistic missile and Tomahawk cruise missile), radars, launchers (except Trident), electronic warfare, lasers and gun systems. The current Task Order in SeaPort NxG covers the broad areas of acquisition and integrated logistics support for the current and future Programs and their variants assigned to PEO IWS. This effort will be conducted on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The basis for restricting competition is the unacceptable lapse in ACQ/ILS support services. Any interruption in support services for PEO IWS FO would negatively affect mission readiness, quality of life for U.S. Navy sailors and their families, and long-term costs to the taxpayer. CACI Technologies, Inc. is the only vendor capable of continuing to provide the Navy uninterrupted ACQ/ILS support services. A formal solicitation will not be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested entities may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Direct questions to Mr. John Latta by email (john.latta1@navy.mil). Please reference the last four digits of the solicitation number when responding to this notice.
