- Notice of Intent to Sole Source: 36C77621Q0028 HR Business Partner Training Introduction: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) intends to issue a sole source contract to Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) for Human Resources Business Partner Training. Justification: The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the foremost expert, convener, and thought leader on issues impacting today s evolving workplaces. SHRM s evidence-based research provides professionals with the data they need. SHRM is an internationally recognized organization providing state of the art training and certification. They provide business leaders with the latest information and resources needed to building better, forward-thinking, world-class workplaces leveraging the latest in technology. SHRM credentials signifies the holder as a recognized expert and leader in the HR field and is an asset to their organization providing high level of knowledge and skills. SHRM certification is the only HR certification. Background: The VA s Office of Workforce Management & Consulting (WMC), Human Resources Development (HRD) is seeking support to provide HR Business Partner Training (HRBP) to support the development of VISN Chief Human Resources Officers, and Strategic Business Partners. The Human Resource Develop team develops and manages programs specifically designed to support succession planning within the VHA HR community. Management officials in WMC require intensive training in specialized areas HR Business Partners. Submittal Information: As stated above, this is an Intent to Sole Source. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Responses to this notice are due on or before 10:00 AM EST on November 9th, 2020 to Clayton Smith via email at Clayton.Smith2@va.gov, and Clement Udeani at Clement.Udeani@va.gov. All responses must include the following information: Company name, Cage code, CCR number, Dun & Bradstreet number, Company address, Point of contact name, Phone number, Fax number, GSA contract (if applicable) and email.
