- Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available.� The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) intends to sole source to: State of Maryland University of Maryland - College Park Maryland Research Data Center 3112 Lee Building 7809 Regents Drive College Park, MD 20742 This requirement provides AHRQ researchers, with special sworn status, with exclusive�access to the Research�Data Center (RDC) at the University of Maryland to access both MEPS Insurance Component data and and Census data. The Maryland Research Data Center is the only location in the region that has close proximity to AHRQ that can provide access to the confidential data. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government as to whether or not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
