Description

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Honolulu Field Office, intends to issue a sole source award for international shipping services to DHL Express, 1210 South Pine Island Road, Plantation, FL 33324.� This special notice will serve as the only notification of this contract action.� Required is a direct shipping service from Honolulu, HI to Guam and Saipan.� The aircraft must fly direct without stopping on foreign soil between these locations.� DHL has been identified as the sole carrier capable of providing this service, and is the only approved carrier for shipments between Honolulu, Guam and Saipan, as laid out in the FBI's General Mailing Policy Guide.� This contract will have a period of performance ending September 30, 2021. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-2.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations.� However, interested parties may submit their interest and capabilities to this requirement by written response no later than Friday, November 13, 2020, 5:00PM EST, via email to Contracting Officer Katelyn Haus at krhaus@fbi.gov.� The FBI will utilize any responses only to determine if a competitive procurement shall be conducted.
