U.S. ARMY CONTRACTING COMMAND WARREN, DETROIT ARSENAL (ACC-DTA), WARREN, MICHIGAN 48397-5000 SUBJECT� PM Stryker; Support Services for Sixty Inertial Reference Units (IRU) assemblies (NSN: 2590-01-630-6000) for test, repair and upgrade. � W56HZV-20-R-0261 Sole Source to GE Aviation (CAGE code: 35351) Three (3) Year IDIQ Contract (three 12-month ordering periods, March 2021 through March 2024), Estimated Ceiling: �Minimum of 8 units, maximum of 60 units The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) Warren, Detroit Arsenal, MI 48397-5000 intends to procure via sole source, an estimated minimum of 8 units to a maximum of 60 units, on a three year, Firm Fixed Price, IDIQ contract under Solicitation Number W56ZHV-20-R-0261.� This sole source procurement will be awarded to GE Aviation pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B), ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements"". �Specifically, �Supplies may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of a follow-on contract for the continued development or production of a major system or highly specialized equipment, including major components thereof, when it is likely that award to any other source would result in- (A) Substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition; or (B) Unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency�s requirements.� � The contractor will be responsible for test, repair, and upgrade of IRUs. The tentative schedule for this effort is calculated at 20 IRUs per year; i.e. 20 per year x 3 years = 60 units. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency.� Contractors must be registered in the DODs System for Award Management at http://www.sam.gov. Information on getting registered may be obtained on the website. Solicitation Number W56HZV-20-R-0261 is anticipated to be issued on the estimated date of March 12, 2021.� The primary POC for this action is Ms. Robin L.
