The site of the new facility is planned for the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL. The planned magnitude of construction is between $30-40 million. Additional information regarding this potential project is in the Project Plan at Attachment 1. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, $39.5 million small business size standard. There is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
