THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services in support of the Spokane VA Medical Center: The Spokane VA Medical Center has a need for two (2) pre-assembled 6 x 8 x8 guard booths on a dual axle trailer. These will be used by the exterior screeners to provide shelter from the elements between screenings. Requirement is for: Two (2) 6'x8'x8' pre-assembled guard booth on a dual axle trailer; walls (28'x8') rated for 90 mph wind loads roof - 3 ply w/ 9"" overhang insulation - min r11 door (36""x84""x1 3/4"") - 20 gauge insulated steel windows (non-opening, 3'8""x3', 42"" above floor) - qty 5 sliding windows (3'x3') - qty 2 electrical package - 1 (1 wall switch, 4 duplex receptacles, 2 phone/computer prep, 1 2x4 surface mount 110v fluorescent fixture 125 amp single phase 8 space main breaker box HVAC (230/208v, 60 hz, 20 amp) - 9000 btu cooling, 11500 btu heating dual axle trailer (16') - wooden floor, 2"" hitch, brake lights, electrical connectors, front leveling jack fork liftable base (6"") counter top (18"" deep x 6'), stainless steel. Functions to be performed: Shelter from the elements Heat and cooling Lighting Visibility via windows Portability via a trailer Essential physical characteristics; Dimensions (if applicable): 6'x8'x8' Pre-assembled Guard Booth Dual axle trailer with wooden floor, 2 trailer hitch, break lights, turn signals, electrical connector and front leveling jack. Booth should be white in color Steel, greater than or equal to 3 thick walls filled with polystyrene Flat roof with at least 9 overhang Minimum wall and roof insulation value of R11 20-gauge insulated steel door with tempered glass and door closer Total of 3 windows; Two picture windows at least 3 wide and 3 tall or greater and one horizontal sliding window at least 3 wide and 3 tall or greater 125AMP single phase 8 space main breaker box One (1) prewired duplex receptacle, lights, light switch and HVAC Air conditioner with at least 9,000 BTUs Cooling and 11,500 BTUs of heat. Booth should be secured to the trailer and able to withstand winds of at least 70MPH. Booth(s) will be inspected for damage and all functions will be tested upon receipt. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Company name, address, DUNS number and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; whether services are presently offered on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract.
