Description

Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (HQ SACT) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) in regards to future requirements development efforts, a gap analysis study, and potentially a NATO SATCOM Capability/Target Architecture, all supporting the future implementation of a Commercial SATCOM Services Framework Agreement. The RFI will help NATO evaluate the potential conceptual solutions and business models that industry currently has to offer in support of a NATO deployable mission. The RFI and Q&A are attached. The due date for submission of the requested information is 31 December 2020. Do NOT submit your RFI response to the Department of Commerce. Instructions for submitting your RFI response are provided in the RFI. This RFI does not constitute a commitment to issue a future request for proposal (RFP). The purpose of this request is to involve industry through collaboration, in an examination of future capabilities related to commercial SATCOM services.� The focus is on how they could be incorporated into the Future NATO SATCOM Capability / Portfolio via its current or future capability program.� HQ SACT has not made a commitment to procure any of the items described in the RFI.� Release of the RFI shall not be construed as such a commitment, nor as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement will be required or sought. Further, respondents are advised that HQ SACT will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to this RFI. The costs for responding to this RFI shall be borne solely by the responding party. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any subsequent RFP if issued in the future.�
