Description
This Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. Summary of Services: This specification establishes a requirement for Automated Storage and Retrieval System Information Technology lifecycle replacement for Anniston Army Depot (ANAD), Anniston, Alabama.� �The Contractor shall provide all material, transportation, labor, equipment, coordination, planning, and supervision necessary to:� ��� �Bring the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) Information Technology (IT) components to include the Warehouse Management and Control System (WMS &WCS) software, servers, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) components into compliance with current Army Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) ��� �Perform conversion from a Unix Operating System (OS) environment to a Windows Server OS environment ��� �Perform migration from an Oracle database to a Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) database ��� �Implement a Contractor supported, Army accepted software solution which will interface with the Army�s Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) ��� �Upgrade serial communications to Ethernet based communications ��� �Upgrade PLCs to Ethernet capable, Contractor supported PLCs to include any software required for full functionality. ��� �Computerize management of ASRS�s Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), conveyor system, self-retrieval machine (SRM) cranes, materials, parts, and work scheduling. ��� �Migrate existing data to the new system ��� �Provide training to System Administrators and End Users on the new system ��� �Provide onsite support for the first two weeks of go live and the first three years� maintenance agreement for hardware and software starting after the two week go live period. ��� �Provide access to the source code so ANAD can make programming changes when needed. All work shall be performed in accordance with the contract documents, specifications, statements of work, and all applicable technical requirements, while ensuring compatibility with existing cranes, AGVs, and conveyor systems. A site survey is offered and all offerors are required to attend. In no event shall failure to attend the site visit constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.� The Anniston Army Depot is seeking responses from all responsible sources, including large, and small business concerns. Small business concerns are defined under the associated North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this is 238990 - All Other Specialty Trade Contractors: Size Standard is $16 million. Please include your company's size classification and socio-economic status in any response to this notice. Responses to this notice must be submitted electronically to Katherine Fuller, Katherine.b.fuller2.civ@mail.mil, (telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged). �ASRS IT Lifecycle Upgrade� must appear in the subject line of the email or it will be deleted and not read. Responses must be received no later than 3 December 2020 at 10:00 A.M. CDT. Interested vendors are requested to submit a statement of the capabilities of their organization with respect to the government�s Request for Information. Responses should include: 1. Prospective firm's name, address, phone number, socioeconomic status and DUNS number 2. General information of firm's previous experience on at least two projects of a similar scope, complexity and value; including the title, location, brief description of work, and dollar value Responses should be ""short and to-the-point."" This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. The Government is under no obligation to issue a solicitation or to award a contract related to this project. NO FURTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THIS RFI IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH ONLY. This RFI will expire on 3 December 2020 at 10:00 A.M. CDT. �
