Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in support of the H-1 Aircraft Program Office (PMA-276) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) order under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (N00019-16-G-0022) to integrate change processes into the OTO production and repair lines that correct the primary failure mode of the Day Display Module (DDM), Night Display Module (NDM) and Electronic Unit (EU).� The contractor shall perform all necessary tasks to incorporate the redesigned CRT and external protections as outlined in ECP OTO-6 from previously awarded NRE efforts (under contract N00019-16-G-0022 N0001917F0025) into DDM and NDM production and repair lines. �The contractor shall also perform all necessary tasks to incorporate the Ardrox AV15 and CAF33 protection into the EU SRA production and repair line as outlined in ECP OTO-7 from previously awarded NRE efforts (under contract [MJPCUCP(1]� N00019-16-G-0022 N0001919F2422). �Specifically, the contractor shall perform non-recurring engineering, logistics and program management efforts that integrate changes into the OTO production and repair lines that will reduce the primary failure modes currently experienced in the fleet for the DDM, NDM and EU.� This effort will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), in that Thales AVS France SAS is the only known company with the knowledge, data, and capability to meet the Government�s needs.� For subcontracting opportunities please contact Thales AVS France SAS directly.� This notice is for informational purposes only.
