THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. There is no solicitation available at this time. This Sources Sought Notice is published for market research purposes only. Marine Corps Logistics Command Contracts Dept. (MSCD) is attempting to identify potential sources capable of fabricating a semi-custom Ultrasonic Cleaning System as described below. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this Sources Sought Notice, nor will it reimburse the respondent for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does this issuance restrict the Government�s acquisition approach. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or in part, any industry input as a result of this announcement. No materials or information received from this notice shall be returned to the sender. Sources responding to this notice should email their contact information and any descriptive information regarding their ability to provide the described� Ultrasonic Cleaning System to the contact named above. Purchase Description: �Ultrasonic Cleaning System (1/EA) Delivery Location: Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany, GA 31704 Note: Sources responding to this notice must be capable of manufacturing, setting up, and training operators of a �Small Arms Ultrasonic Cleaning System meeting �the approximate specifications below: Ultrasonic Cleaning Tank System: 900 Gallons minimum :� Inside Tank Working Dimensions: approximately (approx.) 74�x38�x58� (L x W x H) Outside machine Dimensions approx. 132�x60�x144� Ultrasonic Power, equaling or exceeding 16,000 watts @ 40 kHz with sweep mode �Designed to accommodate 2 ea baskets (36� x 36� x56� ) at same time or one 72�x36�x58� basket. Able to clean 2 racks of 50 M16 rifles (36 x36 x48 each rack) or 2 racks of 12-13 .50 cal (36x36x56 (2236 lbs), or 240 Machine guns 15- 30 at a time. The unassembled system must fit through access door with 12ft width and 14ft height. Electrical Requirements: 480V/ 60Hz / 3P / Approx.� 100Amps. Tank Material: 12 GG SSTL 304, Rated for 2500lb load Stainless Steel machine housing panels Tank Welds:� Welded on outside of tank, stich welded on inside of tank Weld Type: Mig and Tig welded and dye penetrant checked to insure water tightness.� Water tightness� verified Internal welds are pacified per ASTM 967. All inlets and outlet fittings are Tig welded on inside and outside of tank. Thermocouple connected to PLC/HMI for precision temp control Drain with ball valve� Heater System:� Designed to maintain cleaning fluid temperature.�� Immersion heater with digital temperature controller.� Free Standing Unit. Heavy Duty Forklift Base, Leveling and anchoring pads System controlled by Programmable Logic Controller and Human Machine Interface Interface Screen, Master Power Button, E-Stop w/System Lockout Tag, System Status Indicators Programmable Cleaning Time, Tank temperature, Filtration System Time, Auto Fill System, Low Fluid and High Heat Shut-down, Degas and Daily Warm-up Times. �Manual basket transfer assist and power-lift assist w/agitation. Lift arm facilitating the pick-up of baskets from the floor and transferring to the tank. Stacking alignment indicator. Stainless steel filtration system w/flow indicator of clogged 25 Micron filter(s), Automatic Oil Skimming system Stainless Steel Gun Parts Baskets (2 Ea) fit in the system at the same time. 36�x36�x48�. Holds up to 50 M16 stocks, barrels, receivers and any miscellaneous parts. Non-marring inserts to hold gun parts in an optimal cleaning positon (1-2� spacing between parts, max 3 layer overlap, angled holders (not horizontal or vertical) so that debris sifts to tank bottom in lieu of resting on guns or parts, mesh pockets for small parts and casters for movement outside the tank� Stainless Steel Custom Parts Baskets (1 Ea) 72�x36�x58� 1�x1� wire mesh
