Description

The ACP program had previously acquired Design Build Construction requirements using a restricted 8(a) MATOC. However, the MATOC expired 06 April 2019. In the absence of a current MATOC, it was determined that it would be in the best interest of the Government to conduct this acquisition as a direct 8(a) award. Market research revealed that Dawson Enterprises, LLC is an 8(a) certified contractor capable of performing the required ACP services. A System for Award Management (SAM) query was run on 14 October to review any exclusions (none were found) and to review the Representations and Certifications provided by Dawson Enterprises, LLC. Also, a search was completed on 14 October 2020 using the SBA�s dynamic search tool to review the 8(a) status of Dawson Enterprises, LLC. Per the tool, Dawson Enterprises, LLC will remain in the 8(a) program until 31 October 2024. On 19 October 2020, the DD2579 was approved by HNC�s Small Business Office. An offer letter was sent to the 8(a) Hawaii District Office on 16 October 2020. On 22 October 2020, the 8(a)�Hawaii District Office approved the offer submitted in Acceptance letter XP1603271089B.
