- Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic and Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific would like to announce an Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP) Consortium Virtual Quarterly Industry Day to be held virtually, on Wednesday, 09 December 2020. The event will include briefings on the IWRP, Consortium Operations, presentation of Technical Briefs, and one-on-one break-out teleconferences. Technical briefs presented during the IWRP Consortium Quarterly Industry Day will include the below eight (8) topics. It is anticipated that the topics will be the basis of upcoming Request for Prototype Projects (RPP) to IWRP Consortium Members. This is not a Request for Prototype Projects, but for planning purposes only. A project will not be awarded from this announcement. In order to obtain more information regarding the below projects, you must be a member of the IWRP Consortium. For more information on becoming an IWRP consortium member, please visit https://www.theiwrp.org. The purpose of this announcement is to provide members of the IWRP Consortium, and industry in general, advanced notification of Government intent. The Government anticipates eight (8) Requests for Prototype Projects (RPPs) for white papers, enhanced white papers or full proposals to be solicited via N65236-18-9-0001. RPP topics will include a technical brief and one-on-one break-out teleconferences. The RPP topics consist of the following: 1) 21-LANT-0174 Combatant Craft Next Generation Processor & CANBus Integration: The government is seeking a replacement for a processor (hardware and software). 2) 21-LANT-0175 STRATSTAR Phase 1: The government is seeking a prototype for a laser weapon tightly coupled with command and control features in one system. 3) 21-PAC-0176 AIT Solution for OM&S Inventor: The government is seeking an automated information technology solution for inventory control at 98% accuracy. 4) 21-LANT-0177 Electronic Maneuver Warfare Mobile Module: The government is seeking a prototype for electronic emitter detection, identification, classification and localization, capable of remote operation. 5) 21-LANT-0178 Dynamic Interoperability in the Battlespace: The government is seeking to prototype a capability to facilitate tactical data exchange between systems that have incompatible data formats and standards. 6) 21-LANT-0179 Maritime Imaging Sensor Text Recognizer Tool (MISTR-T): The government is seeking to prototype a capability for text and character recognition to identify maritime vessels. 7) 21-LANT-0180 Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Plan to Perform (P2P): The government is seeking to identify capabilities for improving material availability of Littoral Class Ships. 8) 21-LANT-0181 Human Machine Teaming for Tactical Decision Making: The government is seeking to prototype advanced analytic algorithms that will address rapid decision making in the battlespace.
