- Description
- PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED. The 316th Contracting Squadron located on Joint Base Andrews (JBA), MD intends to award a competitive Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the Repair/Modernization of 89 MXG Building 1791 located on Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, 20762. This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, and FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts. The contractor is expected to provide all engineering, labor, equipment, supervision, and effort necessary to repair/modernize 89 MXG Bldg. 1791.� Tasks include demolishing the interior of the building including wall and ceiling finishes, demolishing the existing paint booth located on the west end, provide new HVAC system, provide upgrade to the existing electrical system including new LED lighting, provide new HC men�s/women's latrines, conference room and offices, provide repairs to existing standing seam roof and provide structural support for new paint booth on the east end of the building in accordance with the specifications. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Period of Performance is 270 calendar days. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220. Product Service Code (PSC) is Z2AZ. The Business Size Standard is $39.5M.� It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 21 December 2020 on the Beta SAM Contract Opportunities web page at https://beta.sam.gov with an anticipated closing date for proposals 30 calendar days later.� There is no cost to use Beta SAM and no cost for Government-provided documents associated with this synopsis or anticipated solicitation. Paper copies will not be issued.� Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates or amendments to any and all documents.� In accordance with FAR 19, this action is 100% set-aside for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB).
