- DLA Aviation intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to the Boeing Company, CAGE 0PXV4, via a letter Request for Proposal (RFP). A copy of the solicitation will not be available via the DLABSM Internet Bid Board Systems (DIBBS) nor the Government-Wide Point of Entry (GPE) BETA.SAM. A copy of this solicitation may only be available to requesters by contacting the Point of Contract (POC) for this notice directly. The agency intends to award a subsumable contract in accordance with the general terms and conditions for the Boeing Captains of Industry (COI) SPRPA1-14-D-002U. The only approved source for this requirement is the Boeing Company, CAGE 0PXV4. Any responsible source, other than the approved source, who would like to submit a proposal for this requirement, must submit a complete Source Approval Request (SAR) package.� The contractor will provide transactional spare parts material to the E-6 Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) at Tinker Air Force Base (AFB) and E-6.� This requirement is for all Sole Source Boeing E-6B Part Numbers. Any responsible source, other than the approved source, who would like to submit a proposal for this requirement, must submit a complete Source Approval Request (SAR) package.� The contractor will perform an engineering review for the following:� Identify Tooling, Processes, Engineering Stability, and Executability Establish the execution priority Develop Technical Data Packages (TDP) & Build to Packages (BTP) Develop and deliver a Tier 1 Integrated� Material Delivery Schedule Perform a tooling availability, location, condition assessment, and provide a recommended tooling solution. Once the engineering review is complete, the contractor may submit the necessary data to catalog the parts into NSNs.� The contractor may also submit pricing and delivery for the parts.� The contract is anticipated to be a Requirements-type, Firm Fixed Price Contract, for a five-year period. The estimated solicitation issue date is December 16, 2020 with an estimated closing date of January 18, 2021.
