GRTE 271071 - Rehabilitate the Moose Administrative Office Roof, Grand Teton National Park The National Park Service has a requirement for the following project. If you are interested, please submit your detailed capabilities in WRITING to demonstrate same or similar experience. This is not a request for proposal or invitation to bid. No proposal package, solicitation, specification or drawings are available with this announcement. Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought announcement or any follow�up information requests. If you choose to submit a package, clearly identify the park and project on your package (GRTE 271071 � Rehabilitate the Moose Administrative Office Roof) and identify your socioeconomic status (8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran, WOSB, EDWOSB, and Small). Your email capability information MUST be 6 pages or less and be SPECIFIC to the scope provided. Your response is due no later than 4:00 pm Mountain Time on December 15, 2020. The Government anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this requirement. The amount of interest or lack thereof will determine the possibility of a competitive set�aside or full and open competition (the size of a small business firm includes all parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, etc.�see 13 CFR 121.108.) Misrepresentation of size status can result in penalties. All firms should be registered and certified in www.SAM.gov. Grand Teton National Park Rehabilitate The Moose Administrative Office Roof NAICS Code: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Construction Estimated Cost Range: Over $10 Million Estimated Period of Performance: May 2021 � November 2022 Project Description Grand Teton National Park is located in Teton County, Wyoming. The Moose Administrative Office is located in Moose, Wyoming. The purposes of this project is for the Renovation/Replacement of the roof and associated construction to mitigate water leaks within the building. The work will include demolition of the existing roofing materials down to the existing structural metal deck and replacing with new roofing build-up. Work will also include structural modifications, insulation, asphalt shingle roofing, PVC Membrane roofing and selective demolition. The building is a pitched roof, multi-story building. The building will be occupied which will require coordination to minimize impacts to the park operations of the staff that will remain working in parts of the building. The contractor will be working adjacent to other contractors working on different projects and be responsible for the protection of cultural and natural resources. The work will occur in cold weather conditions with snow and ice accumulations and in areas of high visitor traffic and pedestrian traffic. Contractor will be working in a remote area where material deliveries and worker commutes are difficult. Contractor may have to secure temporary housing for construction personnel in a community with high tourism and limited housing options. New construction will also include replacing windows, providing new wall & soffit construction, and repair work associated with sealing exterior walls at roof intersections. Some limited interior work is also included. The work will be split between 3 sections or general areas of the building. The three areas of the building consists of 1. North Section, which houses emergency center, services, and office space on three levels (Risk Category IV requirements). 2. Center Section, which houses one story maintenance shop. 3. South Section, which houses primarily office space on three levels. The work schedule will be split into 2 phases of work, occurring in the summer months of 2021 and 2022.
