Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia intends to procure engineering and technical services in support of all existing DRS Marlo manufactured heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. The services will include modification, testing, analysis, installation, in-service field support, and corresponding documentation for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems based upon current Navy designs. This includes, but is not limited to, modification of modular refrigeration units (MRUs), unit coolers, air handling units (AHUs), self-contained air chillers (SCACs), fan coil units (FCUs), fan coil assemblies (FCAs), control systems, and technology integration packages for existing Navy air conditioning and refrigeration systems; testing and qualification of modified air conditioning and refrigeration systems; carryout engineering analyses; installation start-up services; in-service field support and developing documentation for all system modifications including revising or new technical manuals and technical manual change pages, installation instruction, installation drawings; final configuration drawings, technical reports and trip reports.� Provide incidental material, travel and sub-contractor efforts to carry out these tasks. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and award with only one source under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Sources and Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1.
