- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FAR 6.302-1(c) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Scott Technologies, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c): ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed procurement is for the purchase of 3M Air Pak X3 Pro regulators and accessories for the Canandaigua VA Medical Center. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339113 and the size standard is 750 employees. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider responses received by 1:00pm Eastern on December 10, 2020. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to laura.egli@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
