- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED �The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), Radiology & Imaging Sciences(R&IS), intends to enter into a contract on a sole source basis, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1 to procure a contract with Siemens Medical Solutions, USA. Inc. 4800 North Point Parkway Alpharetta, GA 30022, USA, Inc. for urgent repair of Siemens Luminos Agile Max Fluoroscopy System Equipment used for patient diagnostic procedures.� This requirement is an urgent and compelling sole source acquisition to the OEM, Siemens, due to the current warranty on the system. If any other vendor were to service the system it would void the warranty. Siemens trained repair technician with the sufficient knowledge and experience are required to repair this system. The Government requires a cleaned and fully functional Luminos Agile Max Fluoroscopy System based on OEM inspection criteria. If there are other sources able to supply the required material, they must respond by submitting a capability statement within 5 days of publication of this synopsis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to the closing date of this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. �A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. RESPONDENTS MAY SUBMIT THEIR CAPABILITY STATEMENTS VIA E-MAIL TO THE POINT OF CONTACT LISTED IN THIS NOTICE OF INTENT SYNOPSIS. � Each response should include the following Business Information a.
