The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for sale two �(2) items of standing timber on approximately 153 acres within three (3) separate blocks at Fort A.P. Hill, Bowling Green, VA 22427 of which approximately the following volumes to be harvested: The sales are sold per Item by unit, harvested timber will be sold by WEIGHT by the ton. Item 1 - TIMBER ON 1 BLOCK (115 ACRES) PINE SAWTIMBER -- 1570 Tons PINE CHIP N SAW � 251 Tons PINE PULPWOOD � 122 Tons HARDWOOD SAWTIMBER � 3024 Tons HARDWOOD PULPWOOD � 1272 Tons Tons of Chips (optional) � 425 Tons Item 2 - TIMBER ON 2 BLOCKs (38 ACRES) PINE SAWTIMBER -- 568 Tons PINE CHIP N SAW � 146 Tons PINE PULPWOOD � 1014 Tons HARDWOOD SAWTIMBER � 156 Tons HARDWOOD PULPWOOD � 244 Tons Tons of Chips (optional) � 72 Tons Contract Period of Performance: Item # one (1) Block # one (1) � All harvest operations including site rehabilitation activities of this item shall be completed by 15 April 2022.� No tree cutting 15 April to 15 September Item # two (2) Block # two (2) � All harvest operations including site rehabilitation activities of this item shall be completed by 15 April 2022.� No tree cutting 15 April to 15 September. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Friday 18 December 2020 by the Acquisition, Management, and disposal section, real estate office, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, VA, and then opened publicly.
