THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Reference#: N0025921N0010. Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source being available to meet the Government�s needs, to: Brainlab, Inc. 5 WESTBROOK CORPORATE CTR Ste 1000 WESTCHESTER, IL, 60154-5766 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 511210; the business size standard is 41.5 (millions of dollars). The objective of this sole source award is to procure the following software subscriptions: 1. Auto-Registration Software Airo Spine Subscription 2. Auto-Registration Software Airo Cranial Subscription 3. Elements Fibertracking Subscription 4. Elements Trajectory Planning Cranial Subscription 5. Elements Smartbrush Subscription 6. Elements Segmentation Cranial Subscription 7. Elements Image Fusion Subscription 8. Elements Viewer 3d Subscription 9. Origin Data Management Subscription 10. Navigation Software Cranial Subscription 11. Registration Software Cranial Subscription 12. Registration Software - Extension Surface Matching Cranial Subscription 13. Instrument Setup Software Cranial/Ent Subscription 14. Alignment Software Varioguide Subscription 15. Navigation Software Spine & Trauma 3d Subscription 16. Instrument Setup Software Spine Subscription 17. Registration Software Spine Subscription 18. Registration Software - Extension Surface Matching Spine Subscription 19. Navigation Software Microscope Subscription 20. Navigation Software Microscope - Extension Head-Up Display Subscription 21. Integration And Verification Of Third Party Devices (1 Visit) Brainlab, Inc. is the only source that can provide these software upgrades and subscription renewals due to the proprietary nature of their equipment. They currently do not have any other authorized third-party partners. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required work and are able to provide valid certification to provide service validated by Brainlab, Inc. Capability statements shall not exceed 6 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source purchase order. Capability statements are due by 15:00 Pacific Standard Time, December 04, 2020.
