DESCRIPTION: �The contractor shall furnish all labor, facilities, mandatory parts, non-mandatory parts, materials, equipment, tools and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the overhaul of the following asset: �Nomenclature: �701D Engine Input NSN: �2840-01-284-4011, 2840-01-503-1701 Input Part Numbers:� 6071T24G01, 5130T00G01 Output NSN: �2840-01-503-1701 Output Part Number: �5130T00G01 Quantity:� 70 Minimum, 570 Maximum (100 FMS) The proposed contractual action will be a single award, Five (5) Year, Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Maintenance and Overhaul contract, with minimum / maximum quantities listed above.� The maximum quantity includes a Foreign Military Sales quantity of 100.� It has been determined the Government�s needs can be met in the commercial marketplace, therefore, Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 is sufficient for use in this acquisition.� �Technical data is available under DMWR 1-2840-248-1/2/3/4 Revision date 09/30/2014, Change #5 is currently available for the overhaul requirement, however this is a Critical Safety Item.� Pursuant to the provisions of Public Law No. 108-136, National Defense Authorization Act Fiscal Year 2004, Section 802, Quality Control in Procurement of Aviation Critical Safety Items and Related Services, as implemented for acquisition by Department of Defense, Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS 209-270), contracts for modification, repair, or overhaul of CSI�s can only be awarded to a source approved by the head of the design control activity. This procurement is restricted to the following approved sources:� General Electric Company (GE) (CAGE Code: 99207), Vector Aerospace (CAGE Code: 3AH19), and Bet Shemesh Engines Inc. (CAGE Code: S0202).� A Product Verification Audit (PVA) is required.� Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Requests (SAR) in order to compete for this or future solicitations.� Award of this requirement will not be withheld pending SARs.� All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency.� Requests for solicitation will be accepted by email. �You may send email requests to regina.h.mitchell.civ@mail.mil.� This requirement is currently unfunded.� Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds.� The closing date annotated is an estimate and may be adjusted dependent upon the date the solicitation is released; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
