- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and 40 U.S.C. 113(e)(3) which authorizes the Department of Defense to acquire utility services for military facilities, the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast, Jacksonville, FL, intends to award a follow-on contract to contract GS-00P-16-BSD-1220/N62467-00-F-1805, on a single source basis, to Entergy Louisiana, LLC ��� � � � � � � This contract is for electrical commodity service in support of NAS JRB NOLA, Belle Chasse, LA, 70037. Contractor shall furnish, and the Government shall purchase and receive electric power service and electric meter as requested by the Government from the Utility Provider. Interested Utility Providers may identify their interest and ability to meet the requirements stated herein and may submit their authority to provide service in the form of a tariff or ordinance. Submission must include providers valid Cage Code. FAR 52.214-34 applies. The associated NAICS code with this procurement is 221122 � Electric Power Distribution. Small Business size standard is 1,000 employees. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Responses to this posting from by an interested provider(s) must be submitted to leaundria.shaheed1@navy.mil in PDF format, no later than 11:00 A.M. EST, 28 December 2020.
