Description
The purpose of this announcement is for market research only. No solicitation will be posted at this time. The Government is seeking interested vendors to provide a capabilities statement for the following project 657-18-113JC FCA- Renovate Operating at John Cochran Veteran Affairs Medical Center (STLVAMC) 915 N Grand Blvd St. Louis, Missouri 63106. The construction area consists of the northern tier of the in-patient surgery area in Building 1. This project will demolish approximately 8,900 square feet including seven operating rooms, partial clean core, scrub alcoves, storage, and other spaces. The five new operating rooms being constructed will consist of two General ORs, one Cardiology OR, one Neurology OR, and one Orthopedic OR. Along with these ORs the design includes construction of their support spaces including storage rooms, clean core, soiled holding, and scrub sink areas along with semi-restricted corridor renovation. Work will require all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to be renovated. Work also includes all carpentry, finishes, infection prevention measures, structural, hazardous material abatement, electrical, low voltage systems, equipment support, HVAC, plumbing, medical gasses, and other systems renovations as required. New pre-fab integrated ceiling systems will be included in all new ORs and are to be integrated with booms, power, data, and med gasses. The period of performance is 365 days after NTP.
