- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 6, 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton, VA 23667, intends to award a sole source agreement/contract to Nanostring Technologies for the purchase of the Nanostring GEOMX and Counter System for HUNTER HOLMES McGUIRE VA Medical Center, Richmond, VA. This contract action is for acquiring the Nanostring GEOMS/Counter System including installation and training for which the Government intends to solicit from only one source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334516 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement by submitting such information by 5:00 P.M., EST. on 18DEC2020. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). An authorized dealer/distributor letter must be submitted with supporting evidence. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action will be based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received is market research and will be used to determine acquisition strategy.
