Description

NOTE:� THIS IS A SYNOPSIS, NOT A SOLICITATION.� PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT AND PLANS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; THEREFORE NO QUESTIONS OF A TECHNICAL OR CONTRACTUAL NATURE WILL BE ACCEPTED OR ANSWERED UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED. INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS SYNOPSIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside procurement. All Small Business concerns representing itself as such in the System for Award Management (SAM) under NAICS Code: 811310 may submit offers. This solicitation, W912P820B0063, is anticipated to be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB).� The resulting contract shall be a firm fixed price (FFP) Contract Award. The solicitation will be issued on or about 29 September 2020.� The anticipated bid opening date is set for 29 October 2020; however, actual date of bid opening will be determined upon the solicitation advertisement date. The work consists of inspecting, disassembling, removing, repairing, reconfiguring, re?installing, and re?aligning the pump unit components of the four (4) pumps at NOV?NF?W?05b.1, Wilkinson Canal Pump Station (WCPS), Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. The order of work for the repairs to the pump units at WCPS shall start with the repairs of Pump Unit #2 and Pump Unit #3 and finish with Pump Unit #4 and Pump Unit #1. The estimated value of this work is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on FBO which is now located at (beta.sam.gov). You will need Adobe Reader for .pdf files (www.adobe.com ) in order to open most files posted by the New Orleans District. You are encouraged, for marketing purposes, to register as an Interested Vendor in FBO.
