Description
CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY THIS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE: The Network Contracting Office (NCO)16 is seeking a business capable of providing Armored Transport Services. The Department of Veterans Affairs , Veterans Healthcare System, 2200 North Fort Roots Dr, North Little Rock AR 72114 has a requirement for ARMORED CAR SERVICES. Typical performance requires the Contractor to pick-up, deliver cash and financial instruments to designated locations. Services shall be performed in accordance with Statement of Work. Performance is to begin date of award four 12-month option periods to renew. Option years are to be exercised solely at the discretion of the government's needs. Payment will be made 30 day in arrears upon receipt of a properly completed invoice at the office designated to receive the invoice. The Contractor shall be a licensed and bonded, commercial armored car service in support of the North Little Rock Arkansas area. The services shall be provided throughout an initially defined area that may be subject to change. Under a firm fixed price contract, the Contractor is obligated to meet the delivery schedule without additional compensation, even though he has to use overtime, extra pay shifts, or multi-shifts to meet the schedule. If the Contract feels overtime is needed to meet the delivery schedule, the Contractor should include an allowance in the proposed quote. This acquisition is unrestricted under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561613. The size standard is $20.5 million. This information is only for classification purposes in the representation and certification portion of the Request for Quote (RFQ). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The RFQ will follow, anticipated posting Dec 16, 2020, with a due date for ALL Quotes from Solicitation 36C256Q0288 on January 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM, CST. The anticipated date for release of solicitation is 12/16/2020. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the beta.SAM.gov website frequently to obtain any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the VetBiz www.vip.vetbiz.gov; System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive a contract award. Contractors may access SAM at https://www.sam.gov. All Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) shall be verified in VetBiz www.vip.vetbiz.gov. Interested capable sources to provide: 1) Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, and DUNS number. 2) SAM registration and/or ORCA as evidence of size status; SDVOSB Certification. 3) Brief capability statement (no more than 5 pages) with enough information to clearly demonstrate the capability to provide the full range of required services, and information on past performance providing relevant services.
