- Description
- Contractor shall develop/design and test the mix design for the Self-consolidated Concrete (SCC) and supply the SCC per Specification Section 03 31 25 to the job site�located at New Cumberland Locks and Dam on the Ohio River. The Government will be placing the SCC, by concrete pump truck, in formwork that is approximately 46 feet�deep. One half of the concrete will be pumped approximately 20 feet horizontally and 41 feet vertically down. The other half will be pumped approximately 160 feet�horizontally and 41 feet vertically down. It is anticipated that a concrete truck could be at the site approximately one (1) hour. The batch plant shall be within 75 minutes�travel time from the delivery site. The estimated total amount of SCC ordered will be between 100 and 130 cubic yards. Desired delivery dates are between 10 May 2021�through 7 June 2021.
