Page 1 of 3 This is NOT a solicitation or request for quote (RFQ). This is NOT a request for proposal (RFP). This is NOT a job advertisement for hiring employees. The VA is seeking QUALIFIED VENDORS to provide a very brief response to this notice including only just what is asked for in this notice below. This is sources sought notice to industry and the only information is posted on Contract Opportunities web page at https://BETA.sam.gov/. Sources sought means seeking qualified vendors. The attachments included on the Contract Opportunities page do not include any additional information. VA is seeking qualified sources ( vendors ) who have interest and capability of performing initial on-site psychological evaluations for all VA Police Officers at Sheridan VA Health Care System, WY. This service will also require annual evaluations for all VA Police staff to determine an officer suitability to perform the duties of a police officer and to carry a firearm. QUALIFICATIONS:  The individual must at a minimum hold a PhD in Psychology and a license to practice independently for the state of Wyoming. Only VA credentialed psychologists are to provide service. Credentialing will take approximately eight (8) weeks. Contractor must possess a US state License for Psychology. The contractor performing these services must comply with the VA s credentialing and privileging process. Contractor shall be compliant with relevant regulatory and accrediting standards with respect to general environmental safety including, but not limited to, Office of Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and all JCAHO standard including demonstration of a process for compliance with JCAHO required analysis of reviewable sentinel events and JCAHO Human Resource standards.
