- Description
- ACC-Watervliet Arsenal (ACC-WVA) is conducting a market survey to identify potential capable sources for the Blue Arc Support Services. The contractor shall assist Ben�t Laboratories in the development of a rough manufacturing process utilizing Blue Arc� to machine the external and internal diameter profiles of a stub tube per critical military drawings. The contractor will also perform a best case effort to demonstrate the electro-Erosion machining process on materials for cannon tubes. NOTE:� It is anticipated that any procurement as a result of this notice will be a sole source procurement with General Electric, Schenectady, NY due to proprietary rights of the process. INTERESTED PARTIES. The Government requests interested parties to submit a response to the questionnaire and company brochure (if available) as well as a capability statement for this equipment that clearly details the ability to perform the aspects of this requirement. All proprietary information should be marked as such. Responses will be reviewed by ACC-WVA personnel only and will be held in a confidential manner. Any and all information provided shall include a description of the proposed manufacturing capabilities. Submitted documentation will not be returned. Vendors should provide Cage Code, DUNS Number and identify if they are a Small Business Concern or Other than Small Business Concern for NAICS 541330. Vendor should also be registered in System for Award Management (SAM). This is a request for information on capabilities and interest and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP); submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary and the U.S. Government (USG) assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. Data submitted in response to this market survey will not be returned. ACC- WVA will only utilize the information you provide in developing its acquisition approach for future requirements.
