- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-02 dated 23 November 2020. This solicitation is other than full and open competition, and is not set-aside for small business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 325998 and the small business size standard is 500 employees.�� The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) intends to enter into a Requirements type contract with Firm Fixed Price Delivery Orders on the basis of other than full and open competition with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Evoqua Water Technologies Inc. LLC 2 Milltown Court Union, New Jersey 07083 or their authorizes reseller Pioneer Industries 155 Marine Street Farmingdale, NY. The period of performance will consist of five (5) years with four (4) 12 month ordering periods for the supply of OEM Evoqua Water Technologies Inc. or their authorized reseller Pioneer Industries LLC Corrosion Anode Prevention and Control (CAPAC) Corrosion Preventive Anode Kits to support the 418� WMSL National Security Cutters, 240� WLBB Great Lakes Icebreaker, and 225� WLB Sea-Going Buoy Tenders on a brand name basis. CAPAC Anode kits are corrosion prevention controls for the hull of the ship where harmful electrolysis attacks the anodes before attacking critical underwater parts of the ship used on. Each cutter�s corrosion preventive system consists of multiple kits. The Evoqua Water Technologies LLC parts within this requirement are essential parts of these cathodic protection systems for the cutter. The estimated pricing was determined after a review of the historical data in Navel and Electronic Supply Support System (NESSS), previous small purchase of Anodes, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) pricing from the OEM, and information obtained from Web Federal Logistics Information System (WebFLIS). The quantities were estimated based on historical date retrieved from NESSS and Fleet Logistics System (FLS) based on previous purchases known cutter current and future demands for CAPAC Anodes replacement or upcoming maintenance availabilities and are listed in the Schedule of Supplies (Attachment 1). The total minimum and maximum quantity of supplies or services the Government will acquire under the contract are as follows: total minimum quantity of CAPAC Anodes to be purchased is 100 each and the total maximum quantity of CAPAC Anodes to be purchased is 200 each. Parts purchased under the resulting contract will be purchased via issuance of firm fixed priced delivery orders. All parts and repair parts shall be genuine OEM parts; no aftermarket or remanufactured parts shall be provided or authorized.� Contractor�s proposal submitted in response to this solicitation shall be valid for 120 calendar days from the closing date of the solicitation.�� In accordance to FAR 16.503(c), Failure of the Government to furnish such items in the amounts or quantities described in the Schedule as ""estimated"" or ""maximum"" will not entitle the contractor to any equitable adjustment in price under the Government Property clause of the contract NOTE: NO SUBSTITUTE OR ALTERNATE PARTS WILL BE CONSIDERED. ONLY NEW PARTS WILL BE ACCEPTED, EXPECT FOR THE PARTS NOTED THAT ARE OEM REMANUFACTURED. NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY.
