The announcement serves as a combined Sources Sought Synopsis and a Request for Information (RFI). �Information below contains a request to seek industry capabilities related to Aircraft Engine Data Download technologies for use by the USAFThe announcement serves as a combined Sources Sought Synopsis and a Request for Information (RFI). �Information below contains a request to seek industry capabilities related to Aircraft Engine Data Download technologies for use by the USAF. STATEMENT OF NEED: USAF supplies designated government and commercial organizations with engine data in support of their propulsion related functions.� Users of engine data are authorized access for specific interface requirements on the platform designated for their intended applications.� Growth in the reliance of network connectivity and increased transfer of engine data over these networks for support functions poses a risk to engine data security and process efficiencies.� USAF seeks to remedy this situation by an alternative method of engine data downloading by prototyping method on select TMS platforms and/or related test beds.�
