Description

NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support intends to add 1 line item to Basic Ordering Agreement for Boeing (BOA #) N00383-19-G-U901 for repair that will support the repair of Indicator, Attitude, and other various systems that support the fleet�s mission. GE Aviation Systems LLC (35351), Grand Rapids, MI is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source to possess full repair capabilities. Complete data, drawings and the rights to the same are not available from the Government. Requirement will be for: Indicator, Attitude, QTY. 8, NSN: 6610-01-661-3491 The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Approval of a source is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair. Additional information for submitting a Source Approval Request package can be obtained at: https://www.navsup.navy.mil/public/navsup/wss/business_opps/.
