Description

NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Contracting Directorate, located at 205 West D Avenue, Suite 414, Eglin Air Force Base, FL, 32542, intends to enter into a new sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Amherst Systems, Inc. a subsidary of Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation located at 1740 Wehrle Drive, Buffalo, NY 14221-7032.� The contract is to provide 14 up-converter direction finder (UCDF) 'slices' and 4 local oscillator (LO) units which will facilitate generation of a radio frequency (RF) electronics warfare (EW) simulation as part of the next-generation electronic warfare environment generator (NEWEG) architecture. Subject contract is anticipated to be awarded on or before 1 April 2021, and the period of performance for this delivery order is not to exceed 24 months after receipt of order (MARO).� The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements).� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and a Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued.� The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 336413, with a size standard of 1250 persons.� No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.� A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
