- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A BRAND NAME SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis to Strategos Consulting LLC. The Government has a requirement for 10-day Maritime Mobility courses critical for EOD, San Diego, CA. This requirement is for course designed to train in small craft tactical formations, insert and extract procedures, underway static and dynamic crew served weapon immediate action drills, and force protection measures prepared using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the FAR 13.302-1, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. ITEM DISCRIPTION QTY 01 Course of Study - ST-21-EODS2-1O 4 EACH Period of performance: 15 � 26 Feb; 26 Apr � 7 May; 5 -16 Jul, and 13 � 24 Sep 2021 This is an unrestricted, sole-source action. The Small Business Office concurs with the set-aside decision. The proposed contract action is for non-commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. FOB Destination applies. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a) (6), the required justification and approval documentation is attached (See Note 22). This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 09:00 AM PST, 31 December 2020 via email to Angelina.pinahardin@navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.
