Description
Sources sought for information and planning purposes to identify qualified and experienced sources for an anticipated multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with firm-fixed-price elements under NAICS code 541330.� The NAVSUP mission is to provide supplies, services, and quality-of-life support to the Navy and Joint warfighter; NAVSUP manages supply chains that provide material for Navy aircraft, surface ships, submarines and their associated weapons systems. NAVSUP provides centralized inventory management for Navy's non-nuclear ordnance stockpile. In addition, NAVSUP provides a wide range of base operating and waterfront logistics support services, coordinating material deliveries, contracting for supplies and services, and providing material management and warehousing services. � For the Navy Supply Chains to operate efficiently and effectively, improvements are needed to better achieve End to End (E2E) supply chain orchestration, integration, and synchronization of operations, activities and investments of all stakeholders.� As such, NAVSUP has endeavored on a number of large, complex transformational initiatives to address these challenges. The anticipated period of performance for an eventual contract, if awarded, is a five year ordering period with the FAR 52.217-8 Option.� Subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, entitled ""Solicitation for Information of Planning Purpose,"" this announcement constitutes a sources sought synopsis for written information only.� This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals: a contract will not be awarded from of this announcement. This sources sought notice is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response.� The Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk, Virginia is seeking information on qualified and experienced sources for planning purposes in an effort to derive a contract vehicle that will provide qualified personnel to provide support in the skill areas required. NAVSUP is specifically seeking information from those companies with experience successfully advising, analyzing, and developing transformational/reform strategies for Fortune 1-100 companies and other Federal Government organizations. Services shall be delivered throughout the NAVSUP enterprise.� Travel will be required.� Additional information can be found in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) (Attachment I). Reponses to this Sources Sought request shall include the following information in this format: Company name, address, point of contact name, phone number, fax number and email address. Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. Size of business - Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Hubzone, Woman-owned and/or Veteran-owned. �Responses shall reflect specific experience dealing with strategic transformations with Fortune 1-100 companies and other Federal Government agencies. Past performance information shall include only relevant performance on the same/similar work within the last 5 years.� Responses shall also include contract numbers (if applicable), dollar value, period of performance, and primary point of contact and their contact information for each contract referenced in the response to this sources sought. Comments, questions and recommendations regarding the PWS are encouraged. Include any other supporting documentation. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Standard company brochures will not be reviewed. Submissions are not to exceed eight (8) typewritten pages, single-spaced, in no less than 12 font size. Responses should be emailed to Ms. Heather Coleman at Heather.Coleman@navy.mil and Ms. Dorothy Curling at Dorothy.Curling@navy.mil by 4:30 PM ET on January 12, 2021.� Again, this is not a request for a proposal.� Respondents will not be notified of the results.
