Description

The efforts associated with this development effort include Non-Recurring Engineering Support, Software Development efforts, Hardware and Software Risk Reduction efforts and Trade Study Analyses for the AIM-9X Missile program. The contract will include contract actions that will take place in Fiscal Years (FY) 2020 through 2024 to include: (1) software support to include new capability software development, support of existing software and software improvements; (2) trade studies and analysis to investigate future capabilities, integration, and existing processes; (3) hardware and software risk reduction efforts; and (4) new requirements within the scope of the contract to be negotiated and incorporated into the contract via modification to integrate engineering changes into the development efforts. In particular, these efforts include the development of domestic and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Operational Flight Software (OFS) and Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS), as well as hardware and software risk reduction efforts for future capabilities. In addition, the contract will procure trade-studies and analyses to investigate and support future capabilities. Requirements are for the United States Navy (USN), United States Air Force (USAF) and various Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.
