- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, Florida, 32827, intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract for Replacement Parts for X-Ray Machine, to GE Healthcare, 4175 W New Haven Ave Suite 3, West Melbourne, FL, 32904, United States. This procurement is for a Sole Source Justification in accordance with FAR 13.501(a), where acquisition conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334517 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is 1,000 employees. This procurement is also being conducted in accordance with procedures in FAR subpart 13.5 under the authority for other than full and open competition FAR 13.106-1(b) soliciting from a single source.
