SOURCES SOUGHT The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gather information for a potential on-ramp to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) Unmanned Undersea Vehicle (UUV) Family of Systems (FoS) Multiple Award Contract (MAC). �� I.�� �BACKGROUND� The UUV FoS MAC (N66604-18-D-C8##) was awarded to twenty-three (23) contractors on 02 August 2018. �This MAC serves as the primary vehicle for procurement of supplies and services used to develop, build, fabricate, integrate, evaluate and support UUV projects. The subject MAC has a base Period of Performance (PoP) from 30 July 2018 to 29 July 2023 and includes options to extend the PoP until 29 July 2027. �As stated in Section L � Instructions, Conditions, and Notice to Bidders of the MAC solicitation N66604-17-R-0350, potential on-ramp procedures may be implemented at Year 3 and Year 6 (if the option is exercised). � Supplies and services under this MAC in support of research, development, and prototyping for UUV FoS include the following Functional Areas: 1.�� �Payloads 2.�� �Hull and Structure 3.�� �Propulsion 4.�� �Energy Storage / Conversion 5.�� �Electrical Power 6.�� �Vehicle Controller 7.�� �Software 8.�� �Non-Payload Sensors 9.�� �Vehicle Control Systems 10.�� �Host Platform Elements 11.�� �Ashore Elements 12.�� �Internal Architecture II.�� �SOURCES SOUGHT NOTE: Contractors shall read the draft Statement of Work (SOW) attached to this notice in its entirety. In preparation for a potential on-ramp, NUWCDIVNPT is seeking information to identify the following: 1.�� �Prospective, eligible contractors capable of providing the supplies and services under one or more Functional Areas described in the MAC SOW. � � � � � 2.�� �Current MAC awardees interested in being awarded additional Functional Areas. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is market research to determine contractors� interest in the UUV FoS MAC. �The NAICS for this requirement is 336999, with a size standard of 1,000 employees.� Place of Performance: The primary place of performance will be determined at the delivery/task order level.� Responses to this sources sought must address, at a minimum, the following:� Section 1: Introduction. Identify the Sources Sought Number and Title. Section 2: Corporate Description. ��� �Name of Company and address; ��� �Email address; ��� �Phone number; ��� �CAGE Code and DUNS Number. ��� �Confirmation of Company size status under NAICS Code 336999. to include small business designation if applicable (Small, Small Disadvantaged (SDB), 8(a), Women- Owned, HUBZone, or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Business); ��� �Two points of contact, one Contracts and one Technical, including: name, title, phone number, and e-mail address; and �Section 1 and Section 2 page limit is not to exceed 1 page combined.� Section 3: Technical Response.� Prospective, interested contractors shall submit a Capabilities Statement identifying: a.�� �A summary of the company�s expertise and any unique skills or abilities to provide the supplies and services in the attached SOW (Limit: 2 pages). � b.�� �The specific SOW Functional Area(s) that the company is capable of and would plan to propose to, providing specifics within the limit of 2 pages per Functional Area identified. � Current Contract holders interested in qualifying for additional Functional Areas under the MAC shall identify its MAC contract number and submit a Capabilities Statement not to exceed 2 pages per additional Functional Area. All interested contractors are encouraged to respond to this announcement. � � Please submit responses to Jeff Champlin, Contracting Negotiator, at jeffrey.champlin@navy.mil, on or before 24 February 2021, 14:00 EST.
