- DLA Fort Bragg Disposition Service Warehouse Project THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR INVITATION FOR OFFERORS TO SUBMIT BIDS. THIS NOTICE WILL BE POSTED FOR A MINIMUM OF 15 DAYS PRIOR TO POSTING THE SOLICITATION. General Project Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Seattle District is anticipating a solicitation to renovate an existing warehouse used for material disposition for the Department of Defense. The warehouse is approximately 55,900 Square Foot (SF) with a total of one bay. General work to be performed includes: demolition of existing pallet racks, security cage, and associated warehouse equipment diamond polishing/repairing concrete floors/add striping installation of pallet racks, pallet wrapping machines, and security cage install forklift charging stations with exhaust and eyewash systems remove/replace lighting to LED install pre-fabricated offices install furniture The solicitation will be a competitive Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 36.213 entitled ""special procedures for sealed bidding in construction contracting."" IMPORTANT NOTICE: All offerors submitting a bid in response to the solicitation must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of the contract. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee shall be registered in the SAM database prior to award. FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, will be incorporated into the solicitation. The solicitation documentation for this requirement will be issued in electronic format only and will be made available online on or about 16 February 2021 through https://beta.sam.gov/help/contract-opportunities under Solicitation W912DW21B0001.
