Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued as a Brand Name Request for Proposals (RFP) for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The following action is to be competed by the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) located at Fort Detrick, MD, in support of the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) located at Fort Detrick, MD.� Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W81XWH-21-Q-0022. The solicitation is issued as a Brand Name Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Brand Name Only Opera Phenix Plus High Content Screening System, Installation, Training, Instrument Warranty and Preventative Maintenance. Reference attached RFP W81XWH-21-Q-0022 for detailed information on the requirement, instruction to offerors and evaluation criteria. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) Number 2021-04 which are effective 19 January 2021. It is the contractor�s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses https://acquisition.gov/far/index.html and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/sitemap.html.� This is an Unrestricted Procurement under NAICS Code 334516, with a small business size of 1,000 employees; all qualified vendors are encouraged to submit a quote. Date and Time of Receipt of Proposals Questions in response to the RFP are due no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Time on Thursday, 11 February 2021. NOTE: All questions must be sent via email to brandon.m.roebuck.civ@mail.mil. Only one (1) set of questions will be accepted from each vendor. Questions received after this date will not be accepted. No phone calls will be accepted. An Amendment to this RFP will be posted to Beta.SAM.gov with responses to the questions received.� Proposals in response to the RFP are due no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Time on Thursday, 18 February 2021. NOTE: All submissions must be sent via email to brandon.m.roebuck.civ@mail.mil. Oral offers will not be accepted. �
