Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Hartech Group, LLC (CAGE Code: 6H5F3), for the Test, Teardown, Evaluation, (TT&E) and repair of Campbell Grinder Model ES750 (SN: 1171, PA: 65886-066598) for the FRCSE at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville Florida. General Electric (GE) is the sole manufacturer and source of parts compatible with the Campbell Grinder model ES750. GE granted Campbell Grinding Company all the technical data rights and specifications for this equipment and Campbell Grinding Company is the only known company with the technical knowledge, proprietary data, and expertise necessary to repair this item.� Campbell Grinder Company has designated Hartech Group, LLC as the sole and exclusive provider of their products, maintenance, services, and training and as such is the only known source for this repair. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of the synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
