U.S. GOVERNMENT General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Louisiana City: Baton Rouge Delineated Area: North: LA 190 South: LA 327/ LA42 East:� LA3245 West: LA 327 Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 16,920 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 16,920 Space Type: Office and Laboratory Full Term: 20 years Firm Term: 15 years Additional Requirements: Near public transportation within � mile Require laboratory space 5,246 USF that complies with Bio-safety Level 2 Requires laboratory space 515 USF that complies with Bio-safety Level 3 Required fenced vivarium space 6,920 USF that complies with Animal Bio-safety Level 2 Offered space must provide easy access to high-tech analytical services like gene sequencing, confocal microscopy, and bioinformatics Action: Choose whether or not a fully serviced lease is required.� Also choose 100 year floodplain unless requirement is identified by agency as a critical action. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Baton Rouge, LA that will be expiring.� The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous.� In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government�s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
