- Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build EHRM Training and Administration Phase 1 Construction project at the Hines VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 5000 5th Ave, Hines, IL 60141. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide professional services to renovate the building enclosure of Building 20 and perform selective demolition of the interior in preparation for the renovation of the interior under a separate contract at Hines VAMC in Hines, IL. The Scope of Work for this project includes but is not limited to all labor, management, and materials for the renovations of the building enclosure and perform selective demolition of the interior of Building 20. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million. The solicitation will be issued on or around February 22, 2021. The period of performance is approximately 120 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
