Description
This Sources Sought is to potentially add approximately 114 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) under a subsumable Procurement Instrument Identification Number (PIIN) to the Bell Captains of Industry (BCOI) contract, SPE4AX-17-D-9410. The BCOI Contract is strategic in nature and is the primary vehicle for this requirement. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute an RFP or commitment by the Government. PURPOSE: DLA Aviation intends to add the attached list of NSNs to a sole source requirement type of contract to provide customer direct support for various Federal Supply Classes (FSCs) with Bell Textron, currently in its five-year period.� The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority the of FAR 6.302-1. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to support the objectives by responding to this notice. All responses received by the notice response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment by the Government. OBJECTIVES: The government has designated many of these items as sole source items or currently only shows one source of record.� The overarching objective of this acquisition is to fill requisitions with Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD) with Time Definite Delivery (TDD) standards. �Respondents are expected to have rights and access to sole source proprietary data needed to manufacture the part(s) to latest required specification(s) if applicable.� Respondents are also expected to be able to support the entire list of items as aggregated in the material list attached as part of this Sources Sought. This entire list of items may or may not be included in any a single resulting solicitation action at the discretion of the government.� RESPONSES: The Government requires that only non-proprietary information be submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for the use of any proprietary information submitted. 1. Responses are required no later than 01 March 2021. 2. Reponses must include the following information: a. Company Name b. Address c. CAGE Code d. Point of Contact e. Phone f. Email g. Web page URL, if available h. Small business type or category you represent, if applicable. i. Identify as a U.S. or Foreign Owned Entity j. Indicate whether your interest is a prime contractor or as a subcontractor. k. Identify as a Manufacturer or Distributor I-Identify as a U.S. or Foreign Owned Entity Respondents must address the following: -Is your company registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the web-based system iRAPT (Invoicing, Receipt, Acceptance, and Property Transfer)?� Do you have access to any other Government systems where you are authorized for use in performance of another Government contract? - What is your company�s capacity for receiving and processing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) orders (formatted by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) X12 Standard) on a daily, weekly, monthly basis?�� What is the current number of Government EDI order transactions that your company processes daily, weekly, monthly?� � -Describe any current or previous contracts with DLA Aviation to include contract number(s) and brief description of the contract(s) and period(s) of performance. -Describe the capabilities of your facilities and the nature of the goods your company provides.� Include a description of your staff composition and management structure. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 01 March 2020 and should be directed to, Cynthia J.
