Description

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Professional Services Acquisition Unit (PSAU)�intends to award a sole source logical follow-on contract for a period of 12 months�for IT Program Management Support Services�on behalf of the Strategic Technology Unit (STU) I, Directorate of Intelligence (DI). The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is�41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This effort is being moved from the Washington Metropolitan Area, to include: Patriot�s Plaza (Wash DC), Crystal City VA, Chantilly VA, Celebrate Virginia (CVA, Fredericksburg), and the FBI facility at Quantico, to Huntsville, AL around February 1, 2022. Therefore, the Government requires additional time to adequately perform the recompete of this effort. This follow-on will enable the FBI to maximize competition by providing industry with a more accurate reflection of scope and staffing within this new market/place of performance. The intent of this sole source procurement is to provide the required support services from 01 March�2021�until the award and transition of the follow-on acquisition.�
