- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers � New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Emergency Lighting Installation, Blackwater Dam, Webster, NH. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to install a total of ten (10) Light Emitting Diode (LED) emergency lighting units with battery backup in the stairwells/main entry level/gallery and replace three (3) existing exterior high intensity discharge (HID) wall packs with LED wall packs.� Emergency battery units shall be wired to the nearest lighting circuit ahead of any switch leg. Emergency battery units are to be installed for the purpose of safety and shall automatically come on when utility power is cut, turn off when power is returned either by generator or the utility power, and be adequately charging when in standby mode.� Wall packs shall be wired and equipped with a photocell sensor. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. This is not a request for offers at this time.� The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date will be available on or about February 25, 2021.� Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted.� The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Contract Opportunities website (www.beta.SAM.gov).� This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5�Million. ALL OFFERORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY OFFEROR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
