Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a service contract, prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 2120401Y64N0091001 applies, and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-03 (MAR 21). This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334513 and the business size standard is 750 employees. U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract.� VIBRATION TESTING OF MK110 GUN ITEM 0001 � VIBRATION TESTING PERFORM VIBRATION TESTING OF THE MK110 GUN MAINTENCE/TESTING PLATFORM IN THE ORDNANCE SHOP AT THE US COAST GUARD YARD IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVIDED STATEMENT OF WORK. Contractor shall conduct vibration testing on the MK110 gun weapon system (GWS) maintenance and testing platform during operational (rotation only) testing of the MK110 GWS.� The section of the platform to be examined is approximate 22ft x 20ft x 10ft high (See Figure 1).� Testing shall be performed using portable test equipment to measure vibrations at several locations on the platform.� Testing shall identify the frequency and magnitude of the platform vibrations at the test locations in order to quantify the responses of the platform.� Preliminary results of the testing shall be made available while the contractor is onsite.� A summary report shall be provided within one week of completion of the testing.� Price shall include all labor, materials, and travel expenses for completing the testing.� CG Yard shall assist with access the underside of the platform as required for the testing.
