Description THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Research Triangle Park, NC intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with DeLima Associate, 1227 Providence Terr, STE L2 McLean, VA; DUNS# 926068453; pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)- Only One Responsible Source. DeLima Associates will provide non-exclusive rights to NIEHS for use of the Consumer Product Information Database (CPID) in accordance with the terms and conditions of a License Agreement. NIEHS will have the right to link to the CPID website hosted and maintained by DeLima Associates during the term of this Agreement. DeLima Associates will grant to NIEHS a non-exclusive copyright license to access consumer product ingredients and health data contained in CPID via the CPID web site: https://www.whatsinproducts.com. This License does not permit downloading of data. DeLima Associates designed, developed, and commercialized a database titled Consumer Product Information Database (CPID) with seed money provided through a SBIR Grant from The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention in 1995. This copyrighted database (Copyright Owner: DeLima Associates) is a searchable database which now contains over 21,000 brand-name consumers products. CPID is the only consumer product database in the U.S. that connects the chemical ingredients of 10 categories of brand-name consumer products with their health effects in one place. This is the only database that allows users to compare the usage, form, ingredients, and health effects of products from over 480 manufacturers in one place using multiple user-friendly search strategies. Period of Performance Base Year: March 1, 2021 to February 28, 2022 Option Period 1: March 1, 2021 to February 28, 2023 This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for quotes. Notwithstanding, any responsible source that believes it is capable of meeting NIEHS requirement, may submit capability statement.� Responses to this posting must be submitted via email to, luis.salas@nih.gov, by February 19, 2021 at 12:00 PM EST. � A determination by the Government not to compete this quote contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. information received will only be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
