Description

NASA John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) intends to solicit Space Florida on a sole source basis�for Airfield Services to support NASA Flight Operations at the Space Florida managed and operated Shuttle Landing Facility (SLF), Kennedy Space Center, FL.� KSC will conduct this acquisition pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1) and 13.501(2)(ii), Soliciting from a single source, which states, ""[c]ontracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization)."" The attached Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition explains the rationale.
